UPDATES

Assalamualaikum & Hello everyone!

It has been a hectic few months for me, so forgive me for not updating much on this blog. Truth is, it's easier to make updates via Facebook and a lot of customers reach me through FB too. The picture albums there are more organized, so head over there for much easier viewing of my previous work, OK.

Now, I've never mentioned it here, but I can also provide special dietary cakes and cupcakes. So if you're in Penang and looking for something vegan (eggless & dairy-free) or gluten-free (no flour) or sugarless/sugar-free, do shoot me an email and we'll talk.

Deliveries to Penang Island and surrounding areas is still available, but due to rising costs, I'll have to increase the delivery charge. You would understand, right? The fuel, time, energy, not to mention, vehicle maintenance, and the worst of all, traffic jams - they can just zap you dry :)

Hugs & kisses to all my loyal customers. Love you guys lots!

Gong Xi Fa Chai 2012

I meant to make something special to mark the auspicious year of the dragon, something for Nunu's lao shi maybe, but I never got around to it.

This order from Shikin came kinda last minute, but I guess luck was on her side. Received her order one night, I had all the ingredients and stuff to make 4 boxes of simple moist chocolatey cupcakes for her to bring to her office the very next day.

Thank you Shikin!

Gong Xi Gong Xi

Celebration time! I don't think I'll have the time to make CNY fondant cuppies promo this time. Boohoohoo... but we'll see. CNY is only a few days away.

These are made for Nadia, rosewater & pistachio cupcakes. I hope she likes it :D

THE LIPLICKIN' XMAS SHOW

Made these cuties for Christmas promotion, which I should have promoted earlier actually :D

I made only 3 boxes of these xmas cuppies, not much but enough to make me lose sleep and break my back. In addition to the 48++ red velvets, I also received an order of 2 carrot cake filled to the brim with raisin mix, pineapples, walnuts, almonds & hazelnuts. Utterly scrumptious but unfortunately, no pics!

Many thanks to the lovelies, Peggy & Kak Annaliza. I'm eternally grateful that you guys & your guests love the cuppies.

COLOURS OF RANGOLI

Deepavali cuppies made for my SSP junior, Ishtar. To be given to her boss, Mr Arumugam for his Deepavali open house as buah tangan.

Flavour was Princess of Persia - rosewater & pistachio - again! Can't help it lah, they taste a lot like laddus!

WHAT I DID LAST RAYA

I've been putting off the task of updating the blog, coz everytime I upload a photo, the quality of it just goes a little off, the colour is all wrong and the most exasperating thing is trying to align the text and photos. Is anyone having the same problem or is it just me?

Anyway, the purpose of this entry is clearing the backlog photos. Thank you to all my friends who have been supporting me throughout the month of Ramadhan & Syawal.

This simple looking choc cake with choc ganache was an order from Mat, a friend of hubby's. 'Controversial' cake, but we sorted it out. Testimonials from his friends who ate the cake during raya were nothing but fantastic, alhamdulillah.

50 pcs of Lemony Snickett's cuppies with Upin Ipin edible image from Wani

Simple choc muffettes from Kak Umi

An old school friend, Irda, ordered 40 pcs of blueberry tarts which she claimed she would eat all herself. Haha, mak buyung mengidam jangan main-main.

EID WISHES 2010

I didn't have time and the convenience to post Aidilfitri greetings before raya, so I hope it's not too late to do so now.

Here's wishing everyone a very memorable and meaningful Eid, Maaf Zahir & Batin. I was lucky to have been caught up and'immersed' (if 'involved' isn't the more effective word) in the affairs of the celebration, the joyous acts of caring, sharing and giving.

May Allah protect and bless us for more Ramadhans and Syawals to come.
