Chelsea Hantaran Cupcakes

Idayu is a teacher friend of hubby's and for her engagement, she'd like to have a hantaran set in Chelsea football team. This is my best take on her sample photo that she sent me.

When hubby learnt that she's going to get married to a Chelsea fan, he snarkily commented, "Kenapa tak pilih orang MU?" (clearly he's an obsessed MU fan to ask that right?). I texted Idayu about it and what she replied? "Coz orang MU tak best...". Hahahhahahahaaa....

 Idayu and her fiance is already married now so Selamat Pengantin Baru, Idayu.

Boboiboy Photocake

When I received an order for this cake, I thought it was for a little boy.

Imagine my surprise (and delight) when I discovered that Ezat is actually a 19 year old strapping young man. Haha, I believe his family members are a funny, funny bunch.

Beary Cute Wedding Cake

This two tier stacked buttercream cake was ordered by Ina Anwar for her brother's wedding. Flavour was moist chocolatey cake with ganache filling for the bottom tier (10") & strawberry filling for the second tier (8"). Received an amazing feedback from Ina & her family members. Thanks Ina!

Cookies & Cream Cake for Ayah

This simple cake but liplickin' none-the-less was made for Aida for her hubby.  It rained garfields & odies when I was late at delivering this cake to her home, but fortunately her hubby was in the showers at that moment, so I guess the surprise  menjadik la jugak kan.. :)

Gong Xi Fa Chai 2012

I meant to make something special to mark the auspicious year of the dragon,something for Nunu's lao shi maybe, but I never got around to it.

This order from Shikin came kinda last minute, but I guess luck was on her side. Received her order one night, I had all the ingredients and stuff to make 4 boxes of simple moist chocolatey cupcakes for her to bring to her office the very next day.

Acu's E-Day

One of my best memories with her was our daily lunch date in our rooms. Oooh I remember how I used to enjoy a huge pack of nasi campur plus an equally huge packet of teh o ais limau (which I'm pretty much addicted to) back then.

So when I heard the news that my good old friend from my uni days was getting married, I was ecstatic. I couldn't be happier to make a cake for her, even if it means that I'll have to go to Parit Buntar to attend her engagement ceremony. It's a favour I'd have to return for she and a couple of friends were there for me when I got engaged.

This cake came a bit last minute, squeezed between orders but I couldn't say no to a good friend, Nor (heheh). It's a moist chocolatey cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant. Even the blocks were made with chocolate cake cake.

A sweet fairy tale inspired cupcakes for Kak Umi's niece's engagement. Alhamdulillah, despite some difficulties regarding the delivery, they were finally in the safe hands of their rightful owner.

A hantaran set I made for Mum's old friend's daughter's wedding. Again, the wet weather disappointed me when the fondant became too soft. I had to do a lot of touch ups when I transferred the cuppies onto the hantaran tray.
