I know for sure that I couldn't afford another last minute order, but how can you say no to Diyana, the famous mommy blogger slash retired Drama Queen whose last words were still ringing in my ears till now, "Eh, orang meniaga mana boleh raya!" in response to my whiny protests.
Huhuhu, jokes aside and my inability to resist her charms (hehheh), I took it as a challenge. All she needed was a simple sweetcase (minus the sweets) and I'd squeeze in 8 pieces of cuppies for her from my existing confirmed orders.
Things were very kancheong indeed since my family held a small kenduri for the kampung folk at my Tok's home and everyone was occupied, but the cuppies were safely delivered and picked up on the very morning of Diyana's SIL's engagement ceremony, with the help of my brother.
Red velvet in silver and teal. Coincidentally, silver teal is a breed of ducks commonly found in South America. Huh.
Muchas gracias, Diyana! Ooh, all of the sudden I'm berfeeling mexicano :)
