This cake was ordered by Alice from Sabah for her special friend who stays here in Penang. A lot of communication went back & forth to materialize her vision for the cake, and as a result, here it is!

Cookies & Cream Cake for Ayah

This simple cake but liplickin' none-the-less was made for Aida for her hubby.  It rained garfields & odies when I was late at delivering this cake to her home, but fortunately her hubby was in the showers at that moment, so I guess the surprise  menjadik la jugak kan.. :)

Love You Much

A box of chocolate oreo cuppies for a very surprised Mr. Iqbal. Each of these cuppies was thoughtfully designed by the sender, Iqa... and the majority of the design was based on a pic she emailed me. Credit goes to the original baker, ya. Please inform me if you've seen this design anywhere.







It was so much fun doing these cuppies and giving Iqa live updates as I delivered the cuppies to her sweetie's office.

Football Craze

If there's something in this universe that I'm least interested in, football would be it.

I mean, despite Sir's countless attempts to enlighten me about the concept of 'off-side', I could never get it.

But ooh, the things I'd do for the sake of 'football'.

I'd pay that RM20-something extra for the sports channel.

I'd tolerate 90 minutes mindlessly watching 22 men chasing after 1 ball, only paying attention when a goal is scored. Just to be with my man.

Sometimes, I'd even admire the art behind that skillful victorious kick or header.

And I'd definitely make these beauties again for a very generous customer and her large family, even on a very short notice. Thank you so much Kak Hajar, who celebrated her son, Hadi's 23rd birthday. It was such a pleasure to meet you.

Golf Themed Cuppies

Golf themed cupcakes ordered by Kak Niza on behalf of her sister-in-law, who was celebrating her husband's birthday who is a golf enthusiast. A box of red velvets and another box of cookie crumble cupcakes.

Mampu buat simple ajer sebab last minute, tapi Kak Hajar puas hati, alhamdulillah.

REZA'S 1st BIRTHDAY

These cuppies were made for Kasuma's anak teruna who just turned 1. Originally I wanted to make tags with The Incredibles theme for him since Kasuma mentioned he's into them at the time, but again, I blame time for not being able to. Last-last, I only managed to buy some cute stickers and made the simple tags. The local supplier was out of the usual cupcake box too. Hampeh.

 Flavours were cherry almond and cookie crumble.

SATC CUPCAKES

The very lovely Sam again ordered this set of SATC inspired cuppies for her friend, Annie - to cheer her up coz she couldn't join Sam and their other friends for a meet-up that weekend.

I do hope I get the concept right on the cupcake tags, coz I'd be the last girl on earth who will ever get the hoopla over this show :D

SPIDERMAN, WHERE ARE YOU COMING FROM?

Before Tobey Maguire became Spidey as we know today, the only live-action Spiderman I remember watching while growing up was on a very retro show called The Electric Company. Gawd, how I loved that show which has fundamentally contributed to my early childhood education.

And what stuck to my degrading brain till now is the pretty cheesy Spidey Super Story theme song. I used to think it was such a cool song back then :)
