Nikon DSLR Cupcakes

These tiny DSLRs were also ordered by Jue for her friend Mirul. They were celebrating a double birthday together with Yana, whose those Domo cupcakes were for.

Domo Domo Domo!

This is by far, the most unusual request I've got since I've been in the business.

Domo cupcakes! Ordered by Jue for her college friend who is obsessed with the creature!

My first impression of this Japanese anime character when Jue emailed me Domo's photo was "Ya ampun, hodohnya makhluk!" (It's OK to criticize a creature yang bukan ciptaan Allah SWT kan?) I mean, doesn't it look like a sawed-off tree trunk with legs and a prominent crotch? And don't let me start on that permanent snarl on that face.

But after playing with the fondant for a while, ish, cute plak benda alah ni :D I could understand the fascination. I googled from some videos and found them so frikkin' adorable!

Thank you for the order Jue. I sure hope Yana loved the Domo-kuns to bits!

Owenges & Webbits

60 pieces of moist chocolatey cuppies for Kak Annaliza's students, which came with individual containers. I forgot to ask her, did her students feel happy to get cuppies instead of angpows?

Little lovebirds in red velvet and cream cheese for my new friend Shireen who celebrated Valentine's Day with her family.

It's a nice feeling when you know you are part of something special and spreading the love, any day, anytime.

Sweet Oreo Dreams

Cookie crumble cuppies for Atikah and her fiance, who celebrated their anniversary last week. Sweet sangat dorang berdua ni.

Soccer Field for Jazmin

Haha, soccer field for the abang, and strawberry field for the adik.

Jazmin's cake is moist chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache. After looking at this cake, Jazmin's younger brother, Mubin, pun tak nak kalah. He's demanding from his mother a similar cake for his birthday this April, if not better!

Happy 17th Birthday Jazmin! Be a good son to your parents and a good abang to your adik-adik, yah!

Strawberry Field for Sufiah

This is an 8" inch strawberry and cream buttercake filled with vanilla buttercream made for Kak Munirah's daughter, Sufiah.

Kak Munirah tak kisah sangat about the whole look of the cake, except that it must be PINK! Hehe, I like. Janji sedap. I went almost completely loco because I couldn't get the fresh cream smooth. Looks like it's high time to get that spinning cake stand.

Alhamdulillah, the feedback that I got from everyone was simply amazing. Actually, the party was a double birthday celebration, Sufiah's and her elder brother's, Jazmin's. His cake will be in the next entry.

Beary Happy Cupcakes

A set of fondant cupcakes - flavours were milli vanilla (vanilla with choc chips & chocolate buttercream) and princess of persia (rosewater-pistachio with rosewater buttercream). Sounds like a heavenly combination, right?

This set was made for Nizam to celebrate her dad's and sister's birthday. Alhamdulillah, they all liked it very much although two of the bears' ears fell off, which I only realized after I edited these pics.

Before meeting Nizam, I added her on FB thinking that Nizam is a guy when it clearly states that she wrote her 'Binti' after her name *doink!*. So when I was supposed to meet her nearby my house, I was expecting to see a guy to come to pick up the cupcakes. Teheehee... so embarrassing.

Thanks Nizam & family. Ada rezeki boleh order ngan akak lagi ye...
